Grumpy is one of our oldest cats. He is a very handsome boy, and was trapped the first time Tom Wargo came to trap for us in early 2011. One of our earliest group members thought he seemed grumpy, so she named him that. He can be seen in the outpatient garage, or the Wisteria garage. He especially likes the pretty landscaped drainage area between the Wisteria and physicians parking garages.
Squeaky is also one of our oldest cats, and was also trapped the first time Tom Wargo came to trap for us in early 2011.
Squeaky is a small cat. She is a sweet girl who loves Smokey with all her heart. She follows Smokey around, and frequently rubs up against him (see above picture). She will allow those she knows best to pet her if Smokey is there being petted also.
Smokey came to us and was trapped in 2013. He has turned out to be a very sweet boy who loves pets from his feeders. He also loves Squeaky.
Because Smokey is so friendly to his feeders, we have been able to help him on several occasions that he needed vet care.
Several years ago, the side of his face became very swollen. He had a tooth that had abscessed and had to be pulled. Earlier this year (2016) we noticed he had lost weight and just didn't look good. The vet discovered he had an abscess in his lower jaw and his lymph nodes were enlarged. All the tests came back negative for anything serious, so we (and Squeaky) were relieved. Smokey was very ready to get back to his home!
